Munnar Day Tour Packages Itinerary

Day 1Munnar Day Tours

Arrive at Cochin international airport or the nearest railway station. From there, our cab driver will pick you up and take you to Munnar, the most romantic hill station of Kerala. Sights on the way include CHEEYAPPARA and VALARA WATERFALLS. Cheeyappara waterfall is on your way 45km before you reach Munnar. The rock on which fall flows forms seven steps on the way, making the waterfall a spectacular vision by water pounding on each layer. And in a 12 km distance before Munnar, you can see Valara falls from the highway itself. The waterfall is covered by thick forest and rocky hills which make it hard to access the fall.

After breakfast, our cab driver will take you towards the rolling hills around Munnar. This morning you can go hiking up to the Eco-point, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty Dam, and also boating.

And in the afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park and the Tea Museum in the middle of the vast plantation. The park will be closed from February to April as it is the breeding season of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Evening Sightseeing continues to Hydel park and Munnar market if you have more time and energy. And at nightfall, you’ll be taken back to the resort for the overnight stay.
